I know a lot of people complain about the 8GB of VRAM, but I've yet to run into any problems with my 3060 Ti playing at 1440p.
So far, the only game that's given me some trouble with VRAM has been Forza 5 nagging me that I'm using 6.8 GB VRAM when I'm running Steam Link.
