Who knew the app was so bad?
And how long until they start being deleted?

Same for the App Store for the last 3 weeks or so.
26 0 ReplyReddit is 100% already crying to Google about "review brigading" and will get almost every 1star review since the API changes removed. Money looks out for money.
24 0 ReplyThere was a post about the large number of recent one-word five-star reviews recently. I suspect they don't want Google looking too closely at the legitimacy of their reviews.
12 0 ReplyI just flagged it as inappropriate - other and stated that such a garbage app should not be an "editor's choice" app.

Mobile dev here - I gave it half a dozen one stars on both Google Play and iOS
21 0 ReplyWondering if dowloading it just to give 1 star review does more harm than good
10 0 ReplyMost people who've used the app know it's technically challenged. One star is more than it deserves in my opinion.
10 0 ReplyI can't review it for some reason lol.
8 0 ReplyDidn't think about that! Thank you! Review left.
7 0 ReplyThe official reddit app is a piece of shit spyware. Just watch all the metrics that fly back to home base when your using it.
7 0 ReplyOh. Hey, thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten to place a review for this product, but I feel it's the responsible thing to do.
5 0 ReplyIt definitely deserves a 1 star rating and I encourage everyone to do the same.
5 0 ReplyI, too, am one of the many people who were just reminded to leave a review
4 0 ReplyYup, I left a one star review as soon as I learned about this crap. I started how I'd always used third party apps and all quitting reddit because of their bullshit. As a final touch, I left a few links to some sites for the fediverse and said that is migrated there instead
5 1 ReplyWhen I had iOS I liked the app and didn't see the need to use a third party one.
Now I'm on Android and the official app is a stuttery mess, so I moved to a third party one and left a bad review mentioning the performance.
