Excellent shave today. Fairly tired but everything performed great. This razor always works very well for me it seems to be forgiving enough for a groggy early shave.

Same: First pass or two has some tugginess to it. But no irritation that lasts longer than a little tuggy stroke. Latter passes feel great and give a reasonably close shave. 5 pretty quick passes.
Razor and Blade Performance/Comfort Rating: 2 out of 5 (Okay)

I just love all the aspects of this scent!
Scent Strength: 6/10, nicely present during shaving.
Lather... Slurry again. Worked out great this time. Very light, but slick on the first pass, and then second, and third got even better as the lather matured. Plenty left over after 5 passes.
Hydration: Perfect (for me)
- 12 sec load with a Very Wet brush
- = 6 passes of lather

Edit: Because of child-care issues, I couldn't finish the post yesterday. At first contact, Pitralon smells something like lighter-fluid in which candy has been macerating for a few days. Apparently at some time one gets a beautiful citrus scent, but I must have been asleep by then.

My goodness, not a glowing first impression.
It's not that bad: At least 60% more glowing than my first contact with the Stag, and 89% more glowing than War.
