Why?
- Because Trump needs to show people that being on his side means you won't face consequences, and crossing him will have dire consequences (see: Zelenskyy not being invited to peace talks regarding Ukraine.)
  
  Not that I disagree but when did Zelenskyy cross Trump? Pretty sure Ukraine was only left out of those talks because Trump is Putins meat puppet.
