This is btw political trap set by the PiS for the PO government. PM Tusk agreed so shit is hitting the fan as it is (there was already a demonstration in Warsaw which is pretty rare in Poland), but if he didn't agreed his pals from EU, especially German ones would decree him as "antisemite". Not to mention Netanyahu didn't even declared that he would actually come.
Everything is even more spicy because PiS (president Duda's party) is the second most antisemite political formation in Polish mainstream.

i'd like to think that the people at the icc & icj are waking up to the reality that they're puppets; but my experiences with various law enforcement agencies remind me that they're zealots who don't care, so long as they feel empowered to push their world view onto other people.
If they were puppets, how could they come to their current conclusions? There are real puppets like for example German and now Polish governments, but the issue that icj, icc are facing is that how can you regulate crimes of empires, when they have too much power. Well for now lets at least record their crimes. So that in future they will remain in memory and if the power balance shifts, sanctions will follow.

I wish I was a conspiracy theorist; I would love to have the certainty. Nevertheless I merely point out a very common and true accusation that the icc's & icj's purpose is use the legal system against the global south to justify the western capitalist empire's hegemony.
