Yes, he's gone from being 1 point off the championship lead to more than 2 wins behind in the space of 3-4GP's!!
I think that whole "king of the streets" thing has affected him.
Definitely, it's honestly kinda baffling from Sainz and Ferrari (although maybe it shouldn't be) that in such a bunched-up session neither demonstrated any awareness of the positional situation
Sucks to be out of Q3, but that's probably about where he was going to be anyway. Still I good result to make it to Q3. Good strategy call by the team to commit to the slicks early.
Oh definitely, as of late I've generally just operated under the assumption that we'll be out in Q2. The chaos of wet weather always opens the door though. Both boys getting to Q3 when the playing field is leveled keeps the barest trickle of hopium flowing.
Whaaaat was that session... I missed the actual start and only watched the highlights but what were some of the pit crews smoking... Also something has got to be done about both Ferrari race engineers, and Sainz's impeding of fast laps.
