Ferrari to power Cadillac F1 team in "multi-year" agreement
so the "all American f1 team" is just gonna be HAAS 2.0?
22 2 ReplyWell, no. The "multi-year" part of the headline is fairly clickbaity as GM will provide its own engines from 28 as planned and Cadillac will be a full works team. But Ferrari will provide engines for '26 and '27 which is technically "multi-year".
15 0 ReplyThat is how F1 works. Only Ferrari and Sauber manage to not be partly dependent on/located in the UK.

I can't help it.. this is still the first thing I think of whenever someone says Cadillac.
12 1 ReplyTheir F1 car will still have wings…just rotated 90 degrees.
10 0 ReplyI am looking forward to liveries that pay homage to their cars from the 50s and 60s.
6 0 ReplyDon't GM also own the Chevrolet brand? That at least makes me think of a Corvette rather than this beach-boys-mobile!
3 0 ReplyI think Chevy is their biggest brand, at least state side, but GM has been pushing Cadillac as a luxury performance brand for at least 20 years now.

Wasn't it a Cadillac that leaked oil all over the track at the 2023 Las Vegas GP pre-race?
