Corporate media executives are thrilled at the prospect of another Trump term because it gives their ratings a massive boost. Instead of falling for their profit-driven, rage-inducing headlines like last time, we could focus on coming together to support our local communities, fostering understanding, and building collective consciousness and solidarity.
Or, we could continue enabling their profit motives and relying on capital owners for help that never arrives. That’s an option too, I guess.

Media outlets haven't been on our side for decades. So try to present themselves as if they are, but only because they think there is an utapped market for such a thing, and they hope to exploit it. Media is a business, it's job is to chase dollar signs.
Dishonesty is a top qualification in that circle.

At this point it is good to see at least some people on the right are pushing back. But more interesting is that trump doesn't seem to really care. Pedo matt wouldn't have withdrawn his name if trump really wanted him in. Trump won, and now he is probably planning to golf the next four years. Odds are that while the result will still be terrible, it's better than what would have happened if he took an active role in it all.
