Generally no. I don't prefer it, and I think I just find it off-putting when people are "acting" for the camera, or otherwise not being genuine. I'm not against it in theory but in practice I don't really know where to look, and it seems like most places have ridiculous over the top titles and content.

One Genre of games I like are Visual Novels. Especially the 18+ variety because they have really good and really fun and interesting stories with rather ahem...
