In fairness, the media didn't catch on to Biden until the trainwreck of a debate. Trump just masks it better.
But SNL called it waaaay back when Michael Che asked "Are we sure it's OK to make fun of this guy?"
Trump in no way masks it better. His dementia has just been ignored by the media.
He has a manic energy to it where Biden just looked lost, that's a pretty big difference.
I agree that Biden had a horrible performance in that debate. One thing I don't agree with, however.... Everyone seemed to take his bewildered looks as him being demented or whatever, but during the debate while I was watching it, I totally related to those looks, because he was giving the side eye to Trump when he said stupid shit. I don't think it was covered entirely without bias there.
I can only re-iterate what I said at the time... Trump was demented, and Biden looked like a lost little boy.
For folks who have had elderly relatives in rest homes know that look all too well... "Wait, where am I? Why are you here? Why am I here?"
