Since the warframe reddit blackout and the move to here, a rather sizeable number of reddit posts answering questions have been lost, they're not all cached by google... Is there any potential that they could be at least archived for the information?
Maybe at some point r/warframe could be switched to at least read-only. That would at least restore access to the information. Some other subreddits have done this already.
Over on the thread in Dormi.zone Meta one of the mods has stated that the mod team is working on preserving the wealth of knowledge from the subreddit. Part of the problem seems to be identifying what threads need to be preserved, there's years of community on the sub.
Even if every thread was apparent in if it was pure fluff or part of the knowledge pool from it's name it would take some time to sift through it all. Knowing what needs saved is a significant part of doing it.
That's valid. I'm glad that it's been thought about already, hopefully either they can figure out some way to make it work or they make the reddit read only. I'm sure they could get a volunteer team who'd help.
