2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Basking in Glorious Stankitude on day one of TabOKtober. Today was a test shave of this Pinget A St. Rampert that was sent for honing. Another razor that the owner of it will love, I think.
-> 2 pass head shave and 1 pass neck cleanup. Good shave.
A very late SOTN, but happy October to everyone! It's actually one of my favourite months, favourite season in general and also: the start of spooky season in preparation for Halloween.
Today's soap is one of my first autumnal soaps I ever got, and it smells very similar to a Yankee Candle of the same name (my mom and me are avid fans of scented candles). It's a Stirling soap, so it's kind of a neverending story (haven't used this one that much, but it still looks full!). It almost explodes with lather when a big brush is used and guarantees a good shave. Combined with an Ol' Reliable like the Ever-Ready, it's just relaxed and comfortable shaving. I still really like pairing Pomona with different scents, wore the EdP all day again and wanted to include it in my shave too.

Wow, great shave. I had a rough day and almost skipped shaving which would have been the first time in 4+ years. Luckily I started to feel better after a little nap and a long shower, and this was my reward.
Remember the story of YRPete? I used to think it's a bit depressing that a scent can get destroyed like this, and last time I looked for the link, I found out that the story had since received a sort of happy end :).

Wonderful shave this morning. After 60 days of using a SOC boar brush, this gigantic, luxurious, and warm badger fan was a more than welcome change. It's on the floppy side and I will probably pull it out and drill a deeper hole in this handle at some point, but if I account for it, I still get wonderful lathers with it.
The beautiful Böker with the dangerous point was wonderfully smooth, and I'm always impressed by the ergonomics of Böker shanks with their best-in-class jimping. This Abalone, my vintage S.S. Paris Wins, and u/Visceralwatch's King Cutter (which I need to send off ASAP) all have this, and I really appreciate it.
I wish you all a great day, and happy TabOKtoberfest to those who celebrate!
