Have you found a good bargain lately, made a repair, or figured out something that works for you?
This is also for any topic requests, suggestions, or tips that might not require their own thread.
Fixed the (handmedown) Switch controller that got dropped. Cents worth of solder & super glue. Works and can still be disassembled.
The iron was bought but it gets used just enough to justify a nice one.
5 0 ReplyI'm in Sydney, and my frugal goal of the month is to clear out the freezer, and make a trip to
and bulk buy as much meat and other stuff as my freezer can hold. Prices look good, so hoping quality is OK too.
(With apologies to any vegetarians).

I got the chance to get to the op shop so I’ve bought some clothes, books, and some Buffy dvds. I think the best things were the lightweight natural fibre shirts.
I’m trying to get my external drive working but if not I have my eye on a secondhand tv with dvd built in.
2 0 ReplyWhat's up with the drive?
1 0 ReplySome kind of error due to driver issue. I’ve googled how to fix it but am a bit discouraged because people are saying the steps didn’t work for them
