James Spader Returning as Ultron for Marvel’s Vision Series
James Spader is coming back to Marvel as Ultron. A decade after he starred in an Avengers movie, he will appear in the Vision spinoff series.
Marvel Studios’ untitled Vision series will be a follow-up series to its acclaimed WandaVision (and connect to Agatha All Along).
The new show is eying a shoot in England in early 2025.
Terry Matalas, the much-heralded showrunner of Star Trek: Picard, is spearheading the new show.
Only Paul Bettany (White Vision) and James Spader (Ultron) have been announced so far.

Movie aside, Spader was a great choice for Ultron and I'm glad to see him again.

I thought they did Ultron dirty by not making him smart enough to keep at least one copy of himself at home while he went out to fight the Avengers
15 0 ReplyThey were too razor focused on setting up Thanos as a big bad. I'd bet if Disney knew the morass they'd be in now, we'd have seen an Ultron survival tease.

I mean, in the comics that's pretty much his thing, Ultron always comes back with another update.
