Testing a used AVR (Yamaha A2A)

I bought a used Yamaha A2A and can return it for 30 days.

Do you have any advice to check that it's fine? What have you seen go wrong with these things?

I'm watching a DVD piped through it and it's working. It turns on. The knobs rotate. The remote remotes...?

Test every input and output. Then maybe rock a 4K blue ray with Atmos for a few hours and see how it goes. Test all wireless connection capabilities it has. Find the manual and look at the features and make sure all the ones you care about work. That’s all I got. EDIT: Firmware updates
