Never liked carbonated drinks with a straw anyway. Something about it just fucks up the texture

Not the same person but paper straws melt, and Canada since plastic straws are banned.
A paper straw makes everything taste like math notebook.
KFC now only provides wooden spoons where I am, and it legitimately makes anything you eat taste like wood
shitty paper straws dissolve, decent paper straws go slightly soft when you're mostly done with the drink anyways.
