[Hyprland] port of my first rice
I ended up liking it too much to switch, and i pretty much just had to remake the bar so I decided to port it :) i also spent like a whole day remaking the music module xd

Hyprland is really nice and I really miss using it but I stopped after learning that one of the main developers is kind of a transphobic jerk and was mistreating people in the hyprland discord server

Thanks. I'm building up a simple Linux image I can set as a robust VM and will look at this for a media player.
Is it possible to install Hyprland on Mint 21.3 or 22 without any problems ?
you might have problems with it on Mint. I tried using it on Mint and had a very bad time with it. Mint isn't great with nivida cards if you're using one.
If you really want to use Hyperland and something that installs and that you can use that's just about as easy as Mint I'd suggest CachyOS. that's the one I moved to after using Mint for a bit. gives you the option to install hyprland while you're installing Cachy. it's faster than Mint too.

It looks cool. They have good Wiki for themselves too. But, IDK how long it existed and long it will exist tho. Just curious.
Arc Browser team teased something like their own Arch distro too.
I'm planning to learn plain Arch. Or should just stick with CachyOS or Arc thing? IDK.
Don't know, I've never used mint on my pc. If you have nvidia you might encounter crashes the first time you install it but after fixing that it should be smooth.

Hyprland is just mouthwatering.
Mint is cool but cinnamon looks archaic & I'm yet see some cooked rice based on cinnamon.
Btw, does Wayland added support for global shortcuts?
