The American socialite alleges she was "force-fed medications and sexually abused by staff" while at youth residential facilities as a teenager.
Hilton, 43, accused the industry, which is worth billions of dollars, of being more interested in making money than protecting and caring for the vulnerable children it is responsible for.
At which point the Republicans present smiled, nodded, and made mental notes to check their investment portfolios.

I really wasn't aware of her working on this issue until I read that, but good for her for doing it. I'm glad she is able to do something good with her fame.
Yeah mad respect for Paris on this one. I think she recently became a mother herself too, makes sense she'd be passionate about it.
