My god is this race delivering - drama, overtakes, crashes everything
17 0 ReplyWe need sprinklers randomly going off on all tracks.
5 0 ReplyBernie?!
10 0 ReplyPfft if you did that at Monaco, literally no one would finish. You'd have a Talladega Nights-esque ending where the drivers have to get out of the wreck and footrace to the chequered flag.
4 0 ReplyWe almost got road hazzards with the ballsy groundhogs popping up

ALBON NO
Just isn't Williams' year this year π
Edit: Dammit Sainz :(

It never is.

Damn the mercs were quick at the end. We genuinely have 4 teams capable of winning
15 0 ReplyHaas what did you do with the pitstop..
π€¦ββοΈ
14 0 ReplyI don't even think they know...
6 0 Reply
Haas breaking everyone's ankles, holy moly.
11 0 ReplyBrundle on Perez: I forgot he was in it (the race), if I'm honest
Can't blame you there, Martin.
10 0 ReplySo unfortunate for Norris.
Crazy drama in this race so far.
10 0 ReplyYeh well one could say it balances his luck from Miami
7 0 ReplyHe also seemed to lose grip in the pit lane.
1 0 Reply
Bonkers strategy by Ferrari. What were they thinking.
9 0 ReplyBold of you to assume they were.
11 0 ReplyDid the ghost of Mattias Binotto decide to haunt their paddock?
2 0 Reply
No way for them to get any points with the engine issue, might as well try something. As long as Charles doesn't crash there's no cost to going slicks
6 0 Reply
Perez you bellend...
9 0 ReplyJeebuz..
2 0 ReplyHe's no longer a serious driver. Change my mind. Bring in Liam Lawson.
4 0 Reply
What a move by albono
9 0 ReplyOvertake of the day for sure.
6 0 ReplyOf the season till now
5 0 Reply
Lando carries on, with inters.. interesting.
8 0 ReplyOne lap too much it seems
4 0 Reply
Excellent start by K Mag on that wet tire. Disastrous for Ricciardo.
6 0 ReplyAlbono passing between two cars to overtake. Oh Albono and Canada is always exciting.
6 0 ReplyTotally understand why Haas made the call on wets, surprised more lower teams didn't try it
But equally surprised they put both drivers on wets.. smart choice for lower field runners surely would be split strategy?
6 0 ReplyMy view is that they thought they're so low they might as well send it. What happens if it goes wrong? They finish last in the Constructors'?
1 0 Replyyeh, im more surprised other teams didn't give it a shot.
Like why did Red Bull not take a punt with Perez, faster cars, on wet tyres, he could have made up a ton of places if it worked out.
3 0 Reply
Did Charles factory reset his car?
6 0 ReplyHe just did the old "delete win32.sys" trick. Also, hello. Didn't know you liked F1, too. Mikadono sisters on the grid when?
2 0 ReplyBeen watching F1 since the 80s. π Hopefully tomorrow morning there'll be the new chapter!
2 0 Reply
And Leclerc pits again. Looks like the Ferrari is back boys.
6 0 ReplyWell they are slow + leclerc has a PU issue. He was a perfect candidate for a crazy strategy because he ain't scoring points anyway
4 0 Reply
Mercedes have the opportunity to do something quite funny here.
6 0 ReplySainz nooooooo!
5 0 ReplyThis is exciting.....hope the weather gives us excitement till the end.
5 0 ReplyAgreed, but I think the tyre strategies alone will do that. I'm more worried about the safety aspect.
1 0 Reply
Where those hards!?!
5 0 ReplyClassic Ferrari.
6 0 ReplyYup! Leclerc on hards, which is insane.
5 0 Reply2 pit stops behind already
2 0 Reply
Yuki NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(
5 0 ReplyOoo, wet race.
5 0 ReplyNorris absolutely flying
5 0 ReplyI sense a safety car
5 0 ReplyAnd there it is.
2 0 ReplyYou called it.
2 0 Reply
I'm here for a ham podium!
5 0 ReplyMclarens have seem to come alive
5 0 ReplyAnd then some. Piastri is looking spectacular, and a McLaren 1-2 would not shock me.
3 0 Reply
Go ric!
4 0 ReplyOof Sargeant.
4 0 ReplyAny bets on whether Leclerc will be able to finish?
4 0 ReplyJeez Perez. Knocked the crap out of the rear of his car.
4 0 ReplyWell, that was a very entertaining race!
4 0 ReplyOf course Checo fucking takes the piss. It'll be fun to see who Red Bull put in that second seat in 2025. Maybe Sainz? Tsunoda?
4 0 ReplyI mean, Checo has been renewed for 2025, and option for 2026...
but that all could change but it would cost RB a lot of $$
2 0 ReplySomething tells me that Red Bull's "fuck you" money means they don't really care all that much. Plus, Helmut in all certainty wants Checo gone, fucked up racism notwithstanding.
1 0 Reply
Are the stewards going to investigate that latest incident between Russell and Piastri? Seemed an unforced error from Russell, if you ask me. 5 second penalty, perhaps?Edit: I said it!
4 0 ReplyI felt piastri was the one who bought his elbows out. Usually the car on the inside yields if they are behind in that corner
1 0 ReplyBut doesn't the ruling also depend on who's ahead going into the braking?
1 0 Reply
Its raining so I hope we get an exciting race!
3 0 ReplyFingers crossed.. if it starts raining harder I'm sure they won't hesitate to red flag it.
3 0 ReplyAs long as it starts before the rain hopefully we will be fine. Without the cars to dry it, yeh.
My concern is it gets red flagged due to a crash, then it rains loads
2 0 Reply
Logan doesn't like a wet track, doesn't like a dry track.. I don't know if we can accommodate you, Logan.
3 0 Replysafety car just as the rain arrives, this is gonna be mega interesting
3 0 ReplyLando, nooooo!
3 0 ReplyHe nearly took out Russell.
1 0 ReplyTheir battle has been a comedy of errors, really.
1 0 Reply
Leclerc retires from the race.
3 0 ReplyHaas back to default settings
3 0 ReplyPoor chuck
2 0 ReplyI normally like most of the drivers but George bothers me
2 0 ReplyNorris needs to get back and give drs to piastri.
2 0 ReplyToo late..
1 0 Reply
Russell and Norris fighting each other is helping max big time
2 0 ReplyWhere the hell is the rain
2 0 ReplyRight now probably over the Old Port. The circuit sits on an island in between downtown MontrΓ©al and the southern suburbs of Saint Lambert and Longueuil.
2 0 Reply
So the inters turn into pseudo slicks right? So they can hold these until it rains then out on new inters?
2 0 ReplyKind of, but they'll wear a lot quicker than the softs.
7 0 Reply
RB has got to be questioning their decision to re-sign that guy.
2 0 ReplyRed Bull have been making bad decision after bad decision since the horner sexual harrasment scandal. I think jos was right and the team is in disarray due to internal dissatisfaction with the investigation as well as all the politics going on
7 0 ReplyImagine a timeline where Jos Verstappen is actually right. What an embarrassment...
5 1 Reply
How can Piastri's tires be one lap older than Max's, didn't they pit on the same lap?
2 0 ReplyUsed in quali, maybe?
5 0 ReplyYeah I think that's it, because I believe FP and quali are included in tyre age calculations when shown on the broadcast.
4 0 ReplyNo more probably used in a FP session. Tyres used in quali usually have 3 laps on them - outlap + quali lap + inlap
3 0 ReplyMhm, maybe..
1 0 Reply
That's a broken rear axle?
2 0 ReplyLooked like from the replay.
2 0 Reply
Oh wow Max with a REALLY bad entry into that turn. Uncharacteristic of him. RB should probably just box for the softs imo.
2 0 ReplyUpdate: Yeah...I called it. I don't think anyone outside McLaren stands a chance at winning barring a red flag or a crazy strat. Pit now and go to the slicks.
1 0 Reply
Kick Sauber starting from the pits?
1 0 ReplyThey broke parc ferme, to change their setup.
2 0 Reply
So rain will arrive just as they've worn down the entire tread. Too bad we didn't see anyone gamble for slicks, if the rain isn't too intense maybe softs would be able to handle it.
1 0 ReplyGeorge doing George things, and where the hell did that extra burst of pace suddenly spring from for Norris.
Its like his tyres suddenly found 2 laps worth of total sweet spot
1 0 ReplyI'm actually interested in seeing the tyre wear on the McLarens. Could we see Norris have to switch onto slicks just as the rain arrives?
2 0 ReplyNorris was nowhere in the wet, while George and Max were wearing out their tires battling each other Norris could save his.
1 0 ReplyThe Tyre Whisperer
1 0 Reply
Safety car.
1 0 ReplyWhen the track dries up a bit more, max could be in trouble.
2 1 ReplyI wouldn't be so sure. I think Norris lost a lot of pace after his last pit.
1 0 ReplyWe will see.
