Anime is a multi-billion dollar industry for Japan. But many young animators who have just started off are living in poverty, or choosing to quit the industry all together. NHK World's John LaDue looks at why that is, and how some are hoping to fix it.
Its not even just anime, its every industry. The cracks in our social contracts are beginning to form from their neglect. People have forgotten that society is only worth it when it provides for you the things you need. The minute it stops providing for you is the minute it becomes more productive and time worthy to return to barbarism. If we want to keep the wheels turning, we need to give more to the bottom.
