24% year-over-year decrease in toxic drug deaths: B.C. coroner

Dozens more people died from unregulated, toxic drugs in B.C. this April, the latest data from the BC Coroners Service shows.

So maybe safe injection sites work? I don't see them mentioning any correlation, but then again, I don't know how long these sites have been operating. Seems to match though.

- Safe injection sites have existed in Vancouver for over 20 years.
Overdoses and drug deaths skyrocketed during covid, so it's no surprise for them to settle down afterwards.
