Oh my god that was dangerous from Ocon, Gasly is absolutely right to be pissed.
Ocon literally did what he did to Perez back at Force India - overtake stupidly and leave no room for his teammate.
20 0 ReplyI am fairly sure this is the worst race I have ever seen. Might as well have called it 80 formation laps. Jesus.
20 1 ReplyI think I counted like 5 overtakes that did not involve a crashed car. Ridiculous really. Last week at least there was some hope that one could pull a move. No such hope here
5 0 Reply5 is pretty high for Monaco. I'm sure there have been years with zero on track overtakes before.

First race I've ever heard my mum call "boring"
1 0 Reply
Haas and Alpines taking each other out. Typical Sunday.
17 0 ReplyHaas was a stupid move by Magnussen, he shouldn't have been there, Nico got caught in it. Ocon, what was he trying to do?
4 0 Reply
Leclerc says he'll bring the car home, proceeds to drive directly to his apartment parking garage.
13 0 ReplyOh look an overtake.....I have seen enough...Bottas DOTD
13 0 ReplyVote him for the Overtake award.
1 0 Reply
Holy shit Perez's car. Thankfully he's out of the car.
11 0 ReplyCheco should do a Kimi and go straight onto a yacht to his family lol
11 0 ReplyGoing by past evidence, it is more likely that he will go to a yacht with people who are not his family \s
8 0 ReplyOof
3 0 Reply
Wow overtakes(plural)แ(แ)แ
9 0 ReplyAh classic, Alpines bonking into each other. Huge lift off the ground.
8 0 ReplyThe video editor's gonna have a hard time extending the race highlights over a minute
8 0 ReplyHaha the F1TV commentary just mentioned the exact same thing.
5 0 ReplyThey're just gonna do 5 mins of lap 1 replays lol
3 0 ReplyHey, there was a Bottas overtake on Sargeant and now Stroll on Zhou in the tunnel. What an exciting race
1 0 Reply
Finally a pass on track! Bottas just got ahead of Sargeant.
7 0 ReplyWow crazy management going on. This seems that it could be pretty dull.
7 0 ReplyAs is tradition! This race needs to go, I get the tradition behind the race, but the cars are just too damn fast and large for this track anymore.
9 0 ReplyEveryone is trying to go slower than the next driver, that's not racing!
5 0 ReplyI wonder whoโll take the Overtake award if there are no overtakes. The safety car?
1 0 ReplyI believe bottas. He "overtook" 3 cars when the Haas cars and perez went out
2 0 Reply
Red flag should be pretty good for the race leaders who started on mediums as they can slap on a set of hards now and likely go to the end of the race on them. Not so good for the Mercedes and Max behind starting on the hards, as they'll have to either stop for mediums later or stick on mediums now but these will likely not last until the end of the race.
6 0 Reply"Of the four of you, you are the best" - now there's some motivation for you, Piastri.
6 0 ReplyAn overtake? THAT COUNTS FOR THE STATISTICS
6 0 ReplyOh my god now the Alpines! Monaco 70 is quite a mess this far
6 0 ReplyFirst points for Williams, great job Albono.
5 0 ReplyTsunoda and Albon in 8th and 9th just got lapped by Russell and Verstappen in 5th and 6th..
5 0 ReplyAnd now Zhou and Sargeant have been lapped twice, I have not seen this in a long time.
4 0 ReplyThe gap between the big four teams and the rest has absolutely blown up today
2 0 Reply
It has been a crazy race.
3 0 Reply
Russell taking it super slow with the medium tire. Guess the plan's to take it till the end.
4 0 ReplyYay Red Bull floor pics
4 0 ReplyDamn it, a safety car was so close
4 0 ReplyStroll nearly gave us some chaos.
3 0 ReplyHe nearly gave us some overtakes and pit activity
1 0 Reply
Leclerc's engineer kinda made it sound like Sainz was the cause of the red flag.
Leclerc: Is everyone ok?
Engineer: Everyone is fine. Sainz had a puncture.
4 0 ReplyWouldnt be surprised if the engineer didnt know the reason for the red flag yet
1 0 ReplyMaybe, but then it would've been a bit hasty to say everyone is ok.
2 0 Reply
The cars are too fucking reliable to give an interesting Monaco race. The fact that there was a 1st lap red flag further diminished any hope of excitement.
5 1 ReplyPerez out of the GP
4 0 ReplyVery happy for Charles!
But something needs to happen to this race. As it is now it is a Saturday race with qualifying, the race on Sunday is negligible, boring even.
4 0 ReplyThey need to spray the track with water at a random time to give us wet racing ๐คช
3 0 ReplyWell, this is an old school track so how about we honor the old school 'adventures' that made racing so dangerous and exciting?
- The water spraying at unknown intervals as you mentioned
- Force all the drivers to drink a pint of whiskey and smoke a cigar before they are allowed to enter their cars
- Make the guardrails out of bails of hay
- Make sure that the runoff areas are running off into the harbour
- Mandatory faulty wheel nut, you just do not know which of the four it will be
- Helmets made from leather
- No visors allowed, just a ray-ban clubmasters
Perhaps if we introduce these rules the race will become more entertaining?
5 0 Reply
At last some thing has happened with stroll pitting
4 0 ReplyHe's finally done it! Well done Leclerc.
Quite surprised to see Russell hold off Verstappen until the end.
4 0 ReplyWell Verstappen was off it the entire weekend. I would say this was his worst weekend in the last 4 years. He was atleast hustling the car last year in Singapore, here he looked dead/uninterested.
1 0 ReplyIt says more about the track than it says about Verstappen honestly. You're crazy if you think that Verstappen wouldn't be able to overtake someone with 51 laps of tyre delta if it'd be at all humanly possible.
4 0 Reply
Mercedes you idiot sandwichs
3 0 ReplyName a better love story than Ocon and penalties
3 0 ReplyMagnussen and penalties. Surprised he didn't wind up with a race ban after today.
1 0 Reply
How slow can we drive, and still not be passed. That seems to be the question.
3 0 ReplyCan't wait for the replay.
3 0 ReplyMax is surprising slow after catching upto Russell. I thought he would all over his back
3 0 ReplyThis race is just background noise while I do better things.
3 0 ReplyOnce the top 4 catch up to backmarkers they have to pit, surely?
3 0 ReplyNo why. They will just lap them and continue as normal. No need to pit now as they have all used both compunds
3 0 ReplyWtf is this race?
1 0 Reply
It kinda looks like a racing incident since the track is narrow or it's on both Checo and KMag
3 0 ReplyThis could get tasty
3 0 ReplyWill be interesting to see if max can go forward somewhat
3 0 ReplyHighly improbable unless there is rain or an appropriately timed safety car.
2 0 ReplyWell, he already made it up one place, thanks to Sainz's misfortune.
2 0 Reply
Sargeant seems to be dropping like a stone: he has been passed by Botas and Stroll, now Zhou is right in his gearbox...
3 0 ReplySince Ocon is out this leaves Stroll to spice things up. Hereโs hoping for a classic Stroll overtake that takes several cars out of the race!
2 0 ReplyStroll just had a puncture ๐ญ
2 0 ReplyCouldnโt have happened to a nicer guy!
2 0 Reply
Almost nailed it!
1 0 Reply
Oh great Sainz can attempt another assassination on Piastri...
3 1 ReplyWow Sainz starting from P3 for restart. Huge for him.
2 0 ReplyCoolcoolcool a second chance to run into Oscar ๐
edit - some salty ferrari simp has now disliked all comments referencing this lmao

Standing start
2 0 ReplySo many on the mediums? We betting on more safety cars?
2 0 ReplyNah, they're betting on driving slowly, checkmate :D
4 0 Reply
It's races like this that make me question why sprints aren't more popular. Because some fans just don't seem to handle actual racing.
2 0 ReplyCongratulations to Leclerc.
2 0 ReplyDoes someone know the pit window for the hard runners ?
1 0 ReplyNo need to pit. They have already changed to a second compound at the red flag. They are going to the end
5 0 ReplyPit window is around 20 seconds. If you are asking for the lap endurance for the hard tires Iโm not sure, but none of them need to change since they already changed tires on the red flag.
3 0 ReplyThanks that helps.
0 0 Reply
Sainz is taking that gunner role pretty seriously.
1 0 ReplyCome on Piastri, send it.
1 0 ReplyThis race is looking very good for Ferrari, McLaren need to do something now..
0 0 ReplyCome on Oscar force Leclerc in the traffic.
