Unless you come to a one-of-a-kind artisan bakery, your croissant is almost certainly made on the factory, very likely in the night shift, delivered as refrigerated/frozen semi-finished product, and put into oven in the place you consider "bakery" by the angry people who had to get up at 4am to do it for the minimum wage.
