How has Diagon Alley changed in the last years? Are there franchises? Have local businesses gone bankrupt because people buy their wands online? Or has everything stayed the same?
Like, franchises exist in the muggle world, but most certainly also in the wizarding world, right?
I’ll go with: it feels comfortably familiar. The wizarding world piloted magic-enhanced electronics (PCs & phones), but determined the costs (e.g. to attention spans, from potential dark wizard influence) outweighed the convenience.

So basically the wizards opened themselves up to the Muggles and shared their "tech" with them. Interesting idea ... its a little bit like now in the Silicon Valley. Are they also teaching actual magic to muggles such that they can make their own spells and stuff?
