So if I don't have a car with android auto I'm just fucked?
- Yep. I'm in the same boat. If it can't be used to generate ad revenue, Google doesn't seem to care about it.
- I think you can still navigate, just not with the assistant function.
Personally I use Head Unit Reloaded anyway since they shut android auto for phone screens. It also works to cast to an android tablet if you've got one kicking around
The only logical conclusion instead of adding horizontal support ¯\(ツ)/¯
