Puttur is very close to where my village is! It is popular for Halmaddi resin!
That's really cool! I wonder if they allow tours?
Unfortunately, I do not know much about workshops or cooperatives that exists over there. Halmaddi trees also happen to be in a sensitive stop, so there's also a lot of government control over it.
