Some of the scenes in this trailer are remarkably close to the animated series. The heart seems to be in there. Whether it works as a whole package will need to be seen...

Visuals look awesome, and the music sounds great. Let’s just hope they don’t pull a Wheel of Time and muck up the story or tone.
This trailer makes it hard to give myself the low expectations that I'd rather go in with.
If anything, that trailer just made me want to watch the original show again
