Teamsters say contract talks have collapsed after UPS made 'unacceptable offer'
The Teamsters said Wednesday that high-stakes talks with UPS over a new contract for more than 340,000 workers have fallen apart after the company presented an offer that union negotiators deemed badly inadequate.

Article's light on details of the last offer that was rejected. Union negotiator says they could pay it but don't want to, which is exactly what you expect the union negotiator to say, but I also don't doubt it. Guess we'll see what a strike accomplishes. As I recall, there was overwhelming support for a teamster strike.
