Disgusting! How to find these accounts so that I dont accidently subscribe ?
It's pretty easy. Just don't go to lemmynsfw.com. hopefully, we'll get a way to
subscribe toblock all communities on another instance with a single click at some point to make this easier.I partially get the reason for hiding NSFW content behind a sign up but at the same because it's not stated anywhere, for a newcomer it looks like the instance may just be without content.
On a completely unrelated point, how can I browse/list all the communities on a separate iinstance from the one I've subscribed to?
Check out browse.feddit.de, by default it lists everything, but there's a menu where you can select just which instances you want to see.
I find lemmyverse.net to be much better. Just select "Communities" up top. And check the NSFW box if you want it.
Maybe don't go to https://pornlemmy.com it's a silly place.
It seems it's not federated to this instance. pasting [email protected] in the search bar doesn't find it.

That must be a weird glitch everywhere right now. I can search for something but not find it, though I know it exists, but as soon as I post the link, then click the link twice (i.e. click the link, go back and click it again), the community shows up. Has happened twice for me. Is search just broken/ not working?
