I'll try to make this a little more fun. Try to guess the restaurant based on the order. Got it? Alright, let's go!
Double quarter pounder with cheese and a large fry. Sometimes I'll get two cheeseburgers instead of the DQP. Usually also get an apple pie or two.
Meat and potato burrito and a large potato ole.
Double butter burger with cheese and the works and a regular fry. Usually get a turtle sundae as well.
Mushroom and swiss burger and a large curly fry.
I figured out how to do spoilers so here are the answers.
McDonald's Taco John's Culver's Hardee's

I don't know where this is but I really want to; it's hard to find a decent mushroom swiss burger around here that doesn't cost $18.
3 0 ReplyHardee's. It's pretty good; if you ever get a chance, try it. Hardee's goes by a different name in different parts of the US. I'm not sure but the name Carl's Jr comes to mind.

- McDonalds
- Taco Johns
- Culvers?
- Hardees? (least sure on this one)
2 0 ReplyYes. I figured this would be easier for Midwesterners since Culvers is mostly (if not exclusively) in the Midwest.

Pretty sure the first one is McDonald's, but don't know about the ones. So I'll just guess on places I don't really go to. Taco Mayo? Five Guys? Dairy Queen?
2 0 ReplySecond one is probably Taco John's.
Third I'm pretty sure is Culver's.
No clue on the fourth. But you're clearly a Midwesterner. I'm not originally from here and I have controversial opinions on Taco John's.
2 0 ReplyI don't frequent Taco John's, but I usually enjoy the food when I do go there.

Why, oh why is it not called half pounder?
1 0 ReplyThe burger patties are 4 ounces. So it's double quarter pounder. Otherwise they'd need two types of patties, this is more efficient and probably cheaper.
1 0 ReplyWell that makes sense but isn’t nearly as fun. And two patties is still half a pound, right?
2 0 ReplyI don't think they're going for "fun". Lol. Yes, 2 patties is still half a pound (uncooked weight).

Ah. I don't see the formatting at all, even on my computer.
