On Monday’s prime time show, after Muslim journalist Mehdi Hasan stated that he supports Palestinians, conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky responded, “I hope your beeper doesn’t go off.”
The remark is offensive, but how is it racist? The implication was that Hasan's ideology is similar to that of Hezbollah, which isn't a race.

Worse still, Hasan isn't Arab at all. He was born in the UK to Indian parents.
Yeah, I was born in the US to Indian parents, and I was still 100% an Arab terrist in the south.
I think that's quite a stretch. Girdusky's comment is clearly a response specifically to Hasan's expression of support for Palestinians. What's the connection between "all supporters of Palestinians are terrorists" and being an Arab?
And the pagers targeted Hezbollah, not Palestinians. Ergo, racist.

Ask yourself if he would have said that comment to a white Christian. If not, then you have your answer.
