  • idk but i wish nato can get more directly involved. proxy wars are difficult. i just want to pop in and let you know I'm republican and all for giving whatever is needed to defeat the Russians. this is the most important thing on the planet right now.

edit: can instead of cannot. i was autocorrected on probably the worst word it could pick to do so.

    • Even if that means voting for a democrat? Because the GOP in Washington certainly doesn't share your opinion even though we're glad to have you.

    • @Marduk73 @mozz It is not a proxy war. The war is between Russia and Ukraine. To call it a 'proxy war' is to insult 'Ukraine' and is only good for Russia.

      • depends on your perspective. from a western power indirectly fighting Russia through donations, training, and equipment, this is 110% a proxy war. and the Ukrainians have proven they are made of tougher stuff than to be insulted by such a word.

        • @Marduk73
No. It does not depend on perspective. The war against Ukraine was started by Russia, and Russia and Ukraine are the only combatants. No matter that several western countries have supplied Ukraine with weapons and Iran and North Korea, Russia, your use of the term, 'Proxy War' is incorrect.
But keep using the term if you like the sound of it 👍
