68 2 ReplyThe worst code I have ever seen, the truly horrible stuff that gives me nightmares was written by myself six months ago.
46 0 ReplyOof, six months ago code is the worst. It's still close enough to your current style that it's undeniably yours and you can vaguely remember writing it, but long enough ago that you've improved a decent amount since then. So the mistakes or bad practice hurts the maximum amount.

There's an argument that if you are not ashamed by your old code, that means you didn't progress as a developer.
