It looks like Dildo N.L. is actually a real place and no one knows why it's called that lol
It's a cute town, I visited last year.
Did they have a gift shop full of trinkets that say things like "there's a little Dildo in all of us" or something similar? It would be worth the trip just for that lol
Weed, CA leans into their name with all kinds of gift merchandise like that. Why not Dildo?

100%. Honestly it's mostly just a sleepy fishing town with one. And a good brewery, decent restaurants.
I have a shirt from their brewery (Dildo brewery) from someone who was there at some point. Definitely real.
But the people in South Dildo, N.L. know exactly why it is named the way it is 😏
