While their humanity should be respected, there is nothing about Israeli civilian life that is sustainable in a post-genocide, anti-apartheid society.
We'd likely see most of the European/American Israelis "flee" if Israel-Palestine became a unitary state respecting the human rights and cultures of Palestinians and Israelis equally. Not because of some feigned "but from the river to see would mean killing the jews!!!" slander, but because the colonial population won't be getting special treatment anymore.
The exact same happened/is happening in South Africa where the final fringes of apartheid society are still being rooted out. Only recently were SA authorities cracking down on whites-only swimming pools.
This isn't a millennia long conflict. It's 75 years of occupation by Europeans. The religious effects came after, and became a façade for the real root of the conflict.
Fun fact: the Israeli population have always been genocidal. They are a horrible, horrible people that do not recognize anyone else as human. This has been going on for decades and has either been buried or deflected with the meaningless slander word "antisemitism".
