So cold. Huddled under blankets and reheating little wheat packs to keep myself warm and I can hear the wind picking up outside.
Thankfully just ate dinner or what passes for it so hoping to warm myself up again.
Settled in for the night playing movies. Maybe might make a late night hot tea.
Hope everyone else is able to stay warm tonight and have a relaxing time.
Have you got one of those heated throws? They are amazing!
Sadly not. I thought about it once but right now I’m not able to afford one for awhile, just using what I have on hand. Wearing a beanie too!
They seem really nice to use and I think they’re pretty energy efficient right?
Maybe if I can get my tax return done early I might have a chance.
FWIW I use a cheap single electric blanket instead of a slightly less cheap heated throw. They're also super cheap on the power use. eg, $24 from target - https://www.target.com.au/p/celsius-fitted-electric-blanket-celebfp-q/67505739
How do you find it personally?
I tore the fitted bit off, held it up to the sunlight and cut a poncho hole through the middle. It's so fucking toasty I can leave the door open for the dog through winter and barely a dent in the power bill.
Very creative!
I think this is on my Christmas wish list for this year. They are amazing.
