Up to the end it was a movie about Desmond Doss trying to reconcile his faith with the war. At the end it was Christianity good let's kill the Japs, Deus Vult.
I don't quite remember that ending. I thought it was about a goody-bible guy doing his very best in a bad situation
Interesting. I watched it a few years ago and don't remember why I disliked it. That's probably the reason.
I'm interested, too, since I'm not touching that movie. Looks boring anyway.
