Evidently you did, because it's mentioned that she was a member of the Imperial Senate right up till it was dissolved. She participated directly in the government that built a weapon of mass destruction and used it to commit a genocidal act of state terrorism. Thankfully, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, they never invented purity testing so people like you weren't wrenching their spines in an effort to suck their own dicks about it.

That sums it up well. Leia wasn't unclear about her morals and goals. She was working in government with the intention of making things better, instead of sitting outside of government and bitching while doing nothing to help.
The baddies were sick of her constant efforts to derail their plans, so once they had enough fascist power to start going after their political rivals, they went after her.
Being in government does not make everyone automatically a willing participant of all of that government's policies. You wouldn't accuse Bernie or AOC of being cozy with GOP bullshit. But people around here are very happy to blame Harris for everything they perceive to be going wrong in the gov, while casually dismissing that Trump is 10X worse at the same topics.

And they don’t publicly undercut the old bosses while being second in charge especially in sensitive diplomatic situations.
Exactly. Maybe Harris is in lockstep with Biden on Israel or maybe it would just be a really bad idea to undercut him while she needs his support.

Harris is part of the current administration and has been fully consistent on their line. So, no, it's not different, and we do have a clear idea what she'll do as president. She will say that what's happening there makes her feel sad, then send a bunch more weapons unconditionally, and you'll be proven completely wrong but it won't give you a moment's pause because Trump would've been worse, so what did it matter if what you were saying was true, as long as it helped her get elected and helped you push aside some cognitive dissonance?
Also, are you suggesting that the QAnon "trust the plan" line was/would've been valid before Trump was in office? Because it wasn't.

She was literally working for an armed rebellion actively fighting a war with the aim of overthrowing the government.
