I dropped Crunchyroll after they told me to turn off my ad blocker after I been paying for months, it was around the same time they got caught pushing views with bad translations. They lived long enough to be the villain.
Ahh, shit. I haven't encountered that yet. I enjoy it while it lasts then 🫡
It was years ago, shortly after they started operating legitimately. I think the drama was they washed out yuri implications from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and found other translations have been unfaithful enough to change plot elements.

Maybe it's because I am using U-Block Origins or because I am living in the EU but I just tried it and it didn't ask me to switch off anything :p
It was years ago, I just happen to hold a grudge like that for life.
