4 0 ReplyNope, as far as I'm aware a motive hasn't been made public. But I'm willing to chalk it up to some people just being miserable jerks.

6 2 ReplyMiserable jerks are definitely way more common than they should be but cutting a tree is a lot of work. It’s hard to believe they didn’t have some kind of motive beyond just stirring up shit. Maybe we’ll find out during or after the trial.
