If such a place doesn't exists, whats the chillest spot in Boise for a night?

I just got this card in my snail mail claiming that I had won a $250 gift card to Amazon, Walmart.. and pretty much anywhere else I want to use it. I called the number and gave them my code that was on the card. After speaking to the lady for a few minutes, she said that I would have to pay $2.89 for the processing cost to send me the card. FYI the Federal Trade Commission warns about these types of scams. Any time they claim that you won something and have to pay to receive you winnings, its a scam. Do not give them your card number, matter of fact don't even call them, its a phishing scam and they are only looking to verify the address that they sent it to, and get your phone number and card info. If you give it to them then your card will start receiving weird unauthorized transactions on it. Tiny ones at first just to verify that the card is active, then the whoopers will come next.

Our weather is hotter and more humid so not too worried about the heat, but looking for some good indoor activities to escape the hottest part of the day.
Was looking at mountain biking in morning or evening one day, floating the river, and on the 4th doing Ann Morrison park fireworks show. Any tips related to any of those or other must do's for a Boise 4th of July?

This is an automated archive made by the Lemmit Bot.
The original was posted on /r/Boise by /u/iloverocks420 on 2023-06-26 03:51:31+00:00. *** The air conditioning in my apartment broke 2 1/2 weeks ago. I filed a maintenance request the day it happened and marked it as high priority but haven’t heard anything back.
I realize it’s still June and we’ve had some cooler weather lately so it’s not been a big deal but I’m starting to get a little worried with the temperatures forecast to reach 100 later this week. I try to cool down the apartment at night but I live on the third floor and there’s only so much you can do with fans and stuff.
In my lease, it says the owner will act with “customary diligence” in regards to fixing broken A/C equipment. Doesn’t list a timeline for repairs but says that air conditioning problems are not emergencies.

The original was posted on /r/Boise by /u/HortoBurns on 2023-06-25 00:05:31+00:00. *** Anyone know if there are fireworks at Redfish lake on 4th of July? Is it usually crowded during that weekend? I know people will be heading up Fri. and finding a spot will be hard but we can just camp in National Forest if need be.
Thinking of showing her a hot spring on the way. Any suggestions for one to check out on the way up?
