My understanding is that companies rarely track inventory per piece directly, since it's much easier to track box/package size as dictated by their distribution standards.
So if a company runs out of small boxes, they can't just undersize the amounts in a medium box without totally screwing up their inventory management, because their inventory management expects a certain amount in those medium boxes.
It falls (ha) under "Other duties as assigned" in the job description.
Thanks for posting this here, as well as anything to keep this community alive.
Not to be a total smartass about this, but since the bug prevents uploading of images, is there any way better to share error screenshots with you other than through lemm.ee posts?
That's a good point for me to clarify:
I didn't have the issue about three weeks ago when I last posted an image, but it has been an issue for at least the last three days, since I tried again to post, so something may have changed between then and now
Unable to upload images to posts
I am having trouble uploading images to posts from my lemm.ee account. I tried doing the same from a backup lemmy.world account I have, and the images uploaded without issue. When I upload directly from the website, I get the error below:
{"data":{"error":"unknown","message":"Request error: error sending request for url (http://10.0.0.3:8080/image): error trying to connect: tcp connection error: deadline has elapsed"},"state":"success"}
This happens with any image I try to upload, including the screenshot I took of the error I transcribed above. Is there any way to resolve this so I can post images from this instance again?

That's heavy.
You just watched it 30 seconds ago. At least try to get the quote right.
