HW News - Linus Tech Tips' Terrible Response, ESMC, & Starfield x AMD GPUs
  • I assume one of the Billet folk must have shit in his cornflakes or turned down a sponsorship request or something along those lines.

I might be spreading misinformation but I've seen it mentioned by multiple sources so I'll take a lesson from LTT, Linus invests in a company that makes gpu waterblocks.

  • This still baffles me, but I guess it's good for federation?
  • I was trying to make an account there yesterday and it was down all day. Was it down for you yesterday or am I doing something wrong?

  • Toilet Rule
  • American denotes continentality

Please draw a big red circle around the continent "America" as I went to public school in the US and am the big dumb and can't seem to find it.

  • GN spends the first segment of their GN News to responding to Linus's comments, and reveals that Linus mislead people on the Billet compensation.
  • Have you ever watched the WAN show?

    I've tried but

He almost always refuses to admit he's wrong.

  • Averages
  • My favorite is averaging testicles and including both sexes.

  • [meme] You'll know when you reach the Netherlands
  • I looked it up and think I found what they were talking about. It appears they are 57th out of 127 at just over 70 million barrels annually (if I'm reading this correctly) with the number 1 spot taken by the US at nearly 15 billion. I think I agree with the other response you got, just a bad faith comment trying to shit talk a country they don't like.

  • More states expect schools to keep trans girls off girls teams as K-12 classes resume
  • I know what you meant and there aren't millions of cis girls impacted by trans girls. That number is a massive inflation to make the impact seem more worrisome. It's called fear mongering.

  • US Navy joins Army, Marine Corps in having no Senate-confirmed leader, in historic first
  • It becomes especially enraging when you put it into context. Servicemembers volunteer to serve on active duty and as a result cannot dictate what state they live in. This is a way for the military to say "it's okay to join because we'll take care of our own if you're forced to live somewhere that doesn't help you." Now this dude is trying to take away another recruiting tool and hurting his own cause of getting more trigger pullers.

  • Tasers, taunts, torment: How 6 White officers subjected 2 Black men to hours of grueling violence, and then tried to cover it up | CNN
  • So far everything I've read is saying 5 years. Two 5 year sentences running concurrently.

  • More states expect schools to keep trans girls off girls teams as K-12 classes resume
  • Progressives aren't the ones trying to make it illegal to be trans or arrest parents for supporting their trans child. Why should we sit on our asses and watch people's rights be stripped away because you don't think it's enough people to protect? You feel the same way about murder? "They only murdered a dozen people, we have bigger things to worry about."

  • More states expect schools to keep trans girls off girls teams as K-12 classes resume
  • If you think millions of girls in the US are impacted by trans people you've bought more propaganda you think. Much closer to dozens than millions but probably more accurately hundreds. I'm more inclined to protect the girls who would become suicidal because they're being told they don't belong in public but you do you.

  • Body cam turned off in police killing of 17-year-old Jemboy Baltazar
  • The bodycam pc for my local sheriff's office is an area accessable to anyone who can get past the lobby and the password is one of the top 3 "never use" passwords. The problem is much deeper in many locations.

  • These figures are no doubt much worse today
  • I bet you're one of those "both sides are bad" types.

  • A-hyuck!
  • And judge rinder isn't a divorce court judge we really gonna poke holes in a meme

  • Judge denies HP's plea to throw out all-in-one printer lockdown lawsuit
  • Would they still be allowed to rule on the case?

Judges recuse themselves AFAIK. An appeals court might override and say a judge shouldn't have been on it but that's pretty rare. So as long as the judges feels they can remain impartial they'll be able to preside.

  • Was it worth it?
  • Simpsons did it

  • Microsoft shuts down Cortana app on Windows 11
  • Don't get too excited. They're just doing it so it doesn't get in the way of the Ai they'll be putting on there.
