I like the way they used quotes here, sometimes postrock can feel a little sterile and this humanises it without the need for a true vocalist. I do agree with you though that you'd need to be careful with how it's used at the risk of losing the audience. I think they have a new album coming out soon. Will be interesting to see where they take their new one.

Ooooh this is exciting. Their album from Voodoo to Zen has been one of my all time favourite postrock albums. Plus their live sessions of it (on their YouTube channel) are amazing.
We had a mother and baby possum on our fence that we nicknamed Methany and Rolexxus.
