Killing of O'Shae Sibley, who was fatally stabbed while dancing at a Brooklyn gas station, will be prosecuted as a hate crime, prosecutor says | CNN
  • Ehh not necessarily. I’d say typically that’s the case, but I’ve met old style liberals that are transphobes before. It’s not typical but it occurs. Just seems seems weird to draw the conclusion that he’s conservative from the article when it isn’t mentioned anywhere that he’s conservative. Hell he could even be libertarian as far as we know.

  • This is the Redox, an ErgoDox inspired keyboard. The keyboard, case, and wrist rest were all community designed. I simply put it together and the flashed the firmware.

I really enjoy the thumb cluster layout. Even though I only regularly use two keys from each thumb cluster it feels really productive to use ‘em.

  • Yup, this is a wireless keyboard that connects with a dongle. There are two wireless versions of this keyboard, one that connects with a usb dongle (the one in the picture) and one that connects via bluetooth. I opted for the dongle version because of the claim of better battery life.

The key caps are Ergodox keycaps from AliExpress. Unfortunately because of this keyboard’s keycap layout not all of the keycaps from that set would fit so some of the keycaps, specifically the white ones are from an old blank keyboard.

  • This Redox keyboard is my first keyboard build and my first split keyboard. The housings are 3d printed but I’m looking to get something a little more robust eventually. I’m running lubed Akko Jelly Black Switches which are dangerously satisfying.
