Direct Drive Wheel Upgrade
  • I actually bought into the fanatec bundle a couple months ago, yea. The basic functionality worked, but I must say that the feeling of the force feedback felt off under Linux - hard to describe though. I feel bad to say this, but simracing is the only reason for me to have a dual booted windows workstation for now :(

All the cool hard- and software stuff that I was missing out, left me longing for windows compatability.

You could definitely give it a try though. Like I said, most of it was and is already there in form of these drivers: https://github.com/gotzl/hid-fanatecff

  • Is the Windows Subsystem for Linux worth it?
  • For me: totally. I need to use windows for work. With WSL, I can use all the tools I need via the Debian box underneath. All I use windows for are the communication apps my colleagues use.

Apart from work: nope. Full time Linux kinda guy

  • Can't recommend the Bangle.js enough. Great piece of hardware! Fully usable and customizable software, even if you're not a software dev, as some people on the internet claim you have to be

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I do take part in LFM races already, as I already stated in another comment. Great fun altogether. What I am looking for though, are like 20-30 people having weekly or monthly races, discussions afterwards etc.

  • My beauty

Just wanted to show off my beauty, that's it :)

    ACCompetizione Community

Are there any communities for Assetto Corsa Competizione particularly? I can't seem to find any. If no, is there interest in one? Looking for my daily dose of ACC :)
