In the current AppStore build this bottom nav bar bug is still present..
Although it occurs rarely.
And requesting to have a RED coloured unsaved icon while un-saving via swipe a comment or post would be really nice touch visually. (Currently it shows green icon for both saving and Un-saving)

Looks like voting and reply button looks a little larger than the comments form the screenshot..
Little smaller would be good.. just my thought..

Heads-up,
- All , Home and Local feeds are not remembering their View mode in AppStore build.
All three going back to large mode from the set compact mode after the manual refresh.
- Also Saved posts and Subscribed communities are not refreshing their comments and votes. Have to manually refresh the feed to get new comments.. Would be really nice to have auto refresh on app opening.

I have a very very very small request for you.. I know I pop out every now and then with smallest of the small nitpicks which might annoy you often..
You have fulfilled most of my requests earlier too and I’m really thankful for that.
Here goes that small request:
Please swap the position of search and notification icon in the lower nav bar.. if you do this small code change I won’t ask for the custom nav bar option I asked in the other post which you said is of least priority at the moment ( Which I totally understand )
Please consider this one small request before the big AppStore launch..

Today I learned that I can customise the gestures according to my liking by clicking on them and can change their functionality via pop up window.. ( I can interchange the SAVE and REPLAY functionalities )
Never knew this before.. ( Silly me )

Can you make the bottom nav icons customisable??
Like changing their position according to our likes maybe..??

One more heads-up:
- The link preview only enlarges the list if a page has too many links.. ( for 50 links it generates 50 link previews making the list to grow with 100 entries with duplicates )
My question is that, Is this supposed to work like this or anything can be done to reduce the list and nullify the duplicates ( Kind of inline previews maybe )??

- Noticed that Short and Medium Left swipe functionalities in gestures have been swapped ( Earlier it was Short for REPLY and medium for SAVE ),.. is it intentional or a bug ??
I felt the medium swipe for save was a standard setting across other lemmy/reddit apps and got used to it. 😅

Just checked for smaller text sizes also, I think it’s a hit and miss in most of the case.. can’t exactly say this is happening only for the larger sizes..
The newly introduced features are good one..
Especially the link preview is a must have.. Happy to see the Avelon is getting feature rich..
Can't wait to see Avelon soon in app store so that many will discover this cool app.

This bug is still present in the latest build:
Clicking on the Heading of the first post in any post feed is taking the page to the communities introductory page which is present above that post feed.
Example: please try clicking on the headline of first post of Avelon community (Introducing Avelon for Lemmy line )here would take the page to the about page is Avelon.

Placement of saved button in compact mode looks uneven as it changes position based on username placeholder but large post size mode looks pretty even( I have mentioned it with pictures in my previous UI BUG post )

Post size like large and compact mode remembers their mode as per user defined in each community like you said but the same large / compact mode is not remembering their user defined mode in My Post and Saved posts section in user account section ( They are in compact mode by default and even after changing them to large mode they forget their user defined mode once you go out and come back to that section. )

Also the un-saving button while swiping a saved post via medium left swipe gesture method is in GREEN colour.. It should be RED instead, same thing applies to saving a comment gesture as well.

Please add accent colour to the currently selected community in a subscription list just like it’s been applied to the bottom navigation bar icons.

The App icon has more whitish outer part surrounding it.. Could you experiment with other colour options which at least fills the white part or enlarge the inner part so that the inner blue part fills out the white part ?? Basically white is not pleasing to the eyes is what I’m trying to say here. 😅

- Could you give us the option of backing up our settings in iCloud or something ??
Because each time I make lots of changes in settings to finally get the look I want in this app like font size and post size/comment and gesture and appearance changes.
It’s very helpful if a person with multiple accounts can have different settings.
Also helpful in case of profile based favourited subscriptions and the views we set on each community like large , gallery and compact.
And since it’s a BETA software, sometimes I reinstall the app and as the features grow its hard to remember the previous settings changes I have made.

Saving posts categories wise:
Give us the option of user customisable Category-Wise saving posts . (This feature was in Apollo ultra and if included this will be a game changer if adapted earlier than the competition)

Sometimes the bottom nav bar moves a little up while scrolling, resulting in this.
Been noticing this from previous builds but I catch this occasionally.
[Request]
Just noticed that, once you make a community favourite a new duplicate community is being added in the favourite section..
This method makes the list grow unnecessarily with duplicates if a person favourites too many communities ( let’s say if he has 50 communities )
Instead what you can do is, once a community is favourited it just moves up permanently and alphabetically into the favourite section and once he unfavourites it comes back to its original non-favourite section with alphabetical order..
This makes the whole list intact without any duplicate entries.
