This is beginning to read like a West Coast bad knock-off of The Wire. https://oaklandside.org/2024/07/11/oakland-fbi-investigation-allegations-port-duong-evolutionary-homes/
Darktable Great digital photography RAW editor. Alternative to Adobe Lightroom.
Once I started using the tool lending libraries in the San Francisco East Bay, it was a game changer for simple maintenance.

Some bike shops also have public work benches with tools. https://www.boxdogbikes.com/about-1
I've been a user of Master PDF for years now. It's my go-to for PDF markup in Linux. Their yearly renewal can be kinda wonky, but their customer service has been excellent.
Does this help? https://superuser.com/questions/527495/how-to-mount-partition-with-spaces-in-path
Looks like you need \040
in place of the space.
Honestly, I would just change the name of the mount directory so there's no space.
Last/best Versions of the Trinity Zooms with Aperture Rings?
I've been doing some fantasy GAS daydreaming and thinking about my film Nikons.
What were the last set of "trinity" zoom lenses with aperture rings? I'm guessing the following, but if most recent does not mean best, please suggest which ones are better.
- AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED
- AF-S Zoom-NIKKOR 28-70mm f/2.8D IF-ED
- AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED
Thanks.
How do you like that trackball? It looks like a nice one.
Ubuntu when they first switched to Unity. I had been running Ubuntu for 2 or 3 years at that point, but I was already thinking about switching to Debian at the time. I hobbled along for a few weeks on that first version of Unity, but I didn't like what I was seeing. I took the plunge into Debian, thinking, "If I'm going to have to learn something new anyways, I might as well try switching."
I was going to say use the old timey fixed width typewriter fonts that the US Army Corps uses (PDF page 5 and beyond), but I guess that they've switched to Times New Roman.
Maybe use open source fonts like DejaVu and Liberation?
Had to look it up, and of course there's a Wikipedia page. I guess the population centroid has been just west of the Mississippi River in Missouri circa 1980. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean_center_of_the_United_States_population
I was in a similar situation. Not sleep-phones, but just a particular type of headphones that I like. Have you thought about getting a Bluetooth receiver for them? It's super annoying, but it's the only way I've been able to keep my headphones. Just thought I'd suggest it if you hadn't thought of this solution/kludge yet. https://www.fiio.com/btr3k
The other option is to get a USB-C adapter. https://us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-play-4
After that spill, at least a coffee table.
You know, I've never thought about this until now. I have two thoughts related to the question.
- Has anyone here watched the episodes in chronological order? https://www.stitchesinti.me/watch
- Is it established fact that the airing order is chronological order on the Doctor's timeline (more or less)?
Mine is this Merkur skin diver.
It's not an homage, and it doesn't hide the fact that it's Chinese. Keeps good time and easy to dress up and down. It would be nice if it had some official water resistance, but it's not a deal killer.
These Skynet plots to wiping out the human race are getting really convoluted as they keep making Terminator sequels/prequels. I guess they're going for the long game by going after the mushroom foragers first.
Newsblur is my favorite. It's paid, but I find the subscription fee reasonable.
Has some of the old social features of gReader, but it's not that active.
Dustrunner
Received my copy of Dustrunner yesterday. Read the instructions last night and played three games today. Failed 3 different ways. Simple game, but still fun.
