Dodgers' bullpen (9IP, 0R/ER) knuckles down, outduels Ohtani (7IP, 1ER, 12K!, 2BB)
ANAHEIM -- Over the last month, as the Dodgers struggled more than they’ve grown accustomed to, the bullpen wore most of the blame as the team fell to third place in the National League West. The Dodgers’ bullpen came into the two-game series against the Angels with a 5.04 ERA,

Is RISC-V hardware viable now?

It's crazy how much Outman cooled off after his rookie of the month award; he was looking like the ROTY but not anymore. That's pretty much Corbin Carroll's to lose at this point.
A's fans really deserve better. It's also somewhat ironic, with all this Las Vegas move stuff going on, that the A's have longest active MLB win streak at 7 games.
Game devs won't stop making FPSes even if they can't innovate because the yearly iteration will sell like hotcakes regardless.
This also highlights the problem with a lot of communities moving to Discord, which inevitably ends up as repositories for critical information, but can't be indexed by Google. Reddit is still valuable as a problem solving resource, and I hope they fix this API fiasco.
Any interest in having game of the day discussion threads?
This Lemmy community is still pretty small but it would be cool to see the MLB fan discussions migrate over (selfishly, too, because I'm probably not going back to Reddit).
The current (MLB) MVP Award favorites are ...
The results from the second MLB.com MVP Award poll of the 2023 season are in, and while the leaders from our first poll held steady, one of the races appears to be much closer than the other. With 47 MLB.com voters participating, National League leader Ronald Acuña Jr. received 42

I try to think that maybe those people are so insecure about themselves that they shift the blame to others?
Predicting the winner of NBA Finals game 5

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Shohei Ohtani. Two of the brightest stars in baseball today, and if Phase 1 of All-Star Game voting ended today, they would be in their league’s starting lineup on July 11 in Seattle.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Brandon Crawford has played in precisely 1,601 games in his Major League career. Up until Sunday, he had only played at one defensive position -- shortstop. Now he can add “pitcher” to his resume.

Seth Curry at 53 feels a bit low, he definitely can be a good shooter for a contending team next year.
If they manage to pull this off, I can't help but imagine it'll just be a repeat of the Nets big three years; absolutely stacked starting 5, bench squad, not so much.
True, I feel like I've heard more about all the drama surrounding some of the players (most recently, Ja Morant, Zion) than actual analysis of the games.
I'm going to buy this game, even more of a instabuy if they include Kotone (female MC).
I think the NBA media underestimated how much people enjoy watching basketball at the highest level.
This might just be me coping, but I'm hoping they're saving the Kotone reveal for a later trailer.
We really need access to proper care in the US, it's unfortunate that so many people have to turn to OTC products when there's malicious people out there like this.
Hopefully this doesn't set a precedent, because I'm sure YouTube will try to take down youtube-dl (again) or NewPipe.
I mean it's who I am, but the current political climate definitely makes things a bit difficult.
Unfortunately, I think expecting introspection from a TERF is asking too much; seems like the idea of people wanting to live their lives normally is beyond their understanding.

Potentially the Uncharted series? Only 4 is available on PC but there's a lot of set pieces with wide open settings that can be explored freely, tons of action sequences, and plenty of puzzle solving.

I'm using Vaultwarden, it's pretty easy to set up with their Docker containers.

Even if Jokic doesn't make the playoffs again (unlikely), he's already got 15 triple doubles, good for #3 all time in the playoffs.
