That is true. But honestly, when it comes to software I'd just rather be left alone, it's why I moved from Windows in the first place.
I totally wouldn't mind donating to Mozilla in some other way though.

For sure! Its definitely the distro i recommend to people looking to move away from Windows for that exact reason, and it helps that Cinnamon feels very much like Windows UI-wise.
Is Revolt chat worth checking out? Just the fact that its open source makes it really appealing.
I'm all down for Discord being the next service people flee from, the enshittification has really been catching up.
I absolutely adore Linux Mint, used it as my daily driver for a while; it was the distro that really sold me on Linux as a desktop OS. Recently made the switch over to Gentoo though (partly as a personal challenge, partly to get more familiar with Linux, and partly to take advantage of the flexibility that comes with literally configuring everything yourself lol).
